Wheelchair visitors
Visitors using a wheelchair can get to the museum through the entrance without any problems. Many farmsteads are built at street level or are accessible via ramps. At the entrance you can get some information on how to find your way about the museum and explore the buildings.

You can easily pull in the car park in front of the museum.
Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located in the entrance building and the Hermann Schilli House (No. 10).
We are particularly keen to encourage people with mental and physical disabilities to visit the Black Forest Open Air Museum.
Naturally, as an Open Air Museum we do have doorsteps and other potential hindrances, but we do our utmost to ensure that a visit to the museum is enjoyable for everyone.
