Current information for your
Museum visit

Dear Visitors,
We are delighted that you would like to visit the Black Forest Open-Air Museum Vogtsbauernhof.

Please note the following information:

  • The visit is possible without prior notification.
  • Admission to the open-air museum is only possible for adults from 18 years of age upon presentation of a vaccinated or convalescent certificate or a daily negative rapid antigen test (24h). Pupils and children up to 5 years of age are exempt from the obligation to provide proof. In case of doubt, proof is provided by the student ID.
  • You can have a rapid antigen test at the test station in the visitors' car park.
  • Please have the contact data entry via Luca app or survey form ready at the checkout.
  • Please pay attention to all safety instructions on site. Above all, keep the minimum distance.
  • The historic buildings are all open. You can visit them with medical mouth-nose protection. Please also follow the signposted route through the houses.
  • You may move freely in the outdoor area. If the minimum distance of two metres cannot be maintained outdoors, masks are compulsory.
  • Our free guided tours in German take place daily at 2.30 pm with advance booking. For 
    pre-registration. 
  • Here you will find all events such as family programmes, guided tours or craft presentations. To the events programme.
  • With our Vogtsbauernhof app, you can explore the museum yourself on four different museum tours.
  • Our playgrounds - the adventure playground at Falkenhof and the water play area at Little castle of Effringen - are open. Please note the restrictions on persons on site.
