This program can only be booked during the apple harvest season in autumn. |
The first thing to do in the museum discussion is to clarify what nutrition and storage looked like in the past. When looking at the surrounding landscape, the question is clarified as how the farmer used to farm here or where he cultivated cattle pastures and meadow orchards.
After the pupils have found out how grain, vegetables and fruit were once wrested from the landscape, it is finally time to roll up their sleeves and touch them.

The students wash the apples at the fountain, chop them up and then press them in the trot. They churn butter themselves. If everything goes well, every young farmer will receive a glass of home-made, freshly squeezed apple juice and a piece of well-greased bread and butter. Plenty of reward for a lot of hard work. Enjoy! |
